Obviously, our surveillance knows where the alleged drug boats are all the time in real time. It would be a simple matter to send a coast guard cutter to interdict them question the suspects. This is all about capitalist imperialist regime change.

The economic war on Venezuela started in 2014 with the suspicious collapse of the oil prices. It is common knowledge that the price of oil can be manipulated. The plunge in 2014 seemed contrived to destroy the Venezuelan and Russian economies.
